| Kobe International Kendo Club En Home | |

◆ Kend Demonstration at St. Michael's International School ( 2011/04/29 ) Kobe is known as an international city. Kobe has five schools for Westerners. This number of schools is top of Japan. We did demonstration of kendo in St Michael international school this time. Eight children and families joined from our club, and introduction of kendo was made happily. |

 Children explained kendo implement to headmaster. |
 Children introduced themselves in English. ( Our club is also teaching English ) |
 We explained history of kendo, and process of change to sword, wooden sword, and shinai ( bamboo sword ) |
 Boy swordsmen exhibited basic action. |
 Almost all students, it was first to see kendo. |

 Also had match of kendo seen. |
 Short kendo demonstration is ended. |
 Bow of kendo custom was done and it finished. It was experience nice for both children. |

◆ Junior Sport Academy ( 2010/10/09 ) This plan was sponsored by the physical education association of Hyogo Prefectural Office. This event has an inexperienced boy and girl experience kendo. It is discovering a future excellent player. |
